ARISTO watch factory in Pforzheim
In 1907, the watchmaker Julius Epple founded the company ARISTO in Pforzheim. Three generations of the operation was known under the name of Julius Epple, ARISTO watches and Uhrgehäusefabrik. Helmut Epple, grandson of the founder, worked until the early 90s, more than 100 employees. ARISTO Messerschmitt ME 262
The first jet fighter in the world was an ME 262 of the German aircraft manufacturer Messerschmitt.
