ARISTO watch factory in Pforzheim
In 1907, the watchmaker Julius Epple founded the company ARISTO in Pforzheim. Three generations of the operation was known under the name of Julius Epple, ARISTO watches and Uhrgehäusefabrik. Helmut Epple, grandson of the founder, worked until the early 90s, more than 100 employees. Helmut Epple 1998, there was a suitable successor to Hans Jörg Vollmer, who acquired the trademark and the Aristo Watch GmbH founded.

The first jet fighter in the world was an ME 262 of the German aircraft manufacturer Messerschmitt.
